Terms of Service
LAST UPDATED · 07 OCTOBER 2026
These are the plain terms for using Keepta. By opening a shop and paying, you agree to them.
Who we are
Keepta is operated by Keepta, based in Nigeria. You can reach us at support@keepta.ng.
What Keepta does
Keepta is an inventory and point-of-sale service for phone, gadget and appliance shops. You use it to track stock, record sales and part-payments, and see your numbers across one or more branches. You reach it in your browser at your shop address, yourstore.keepta.ng.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe, for the staff you invite and the access you give them, and for the accuracy of what you record in Keepta. Tell us straight away if you think someone has your password.
Fees and renewal
Keepta charges a one-time setup fee for each branch and a yearly maintenance fee that covers hosting, backups, support and updates. Prices are in naira and are paid through Paystack. If you do not renew a branch, access to that branch pauses until you do. All fees are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for the detail.
Closing your account and your data
You can close your account at any time from Settings. When you close it, we deactivate it right away, so you and your staff can no longer sign in.
We do not erase your records the moment you close. The law can require us to produce business records later, so we keep your data, deactivated and no longer in use, for 12 months (1 year) before it becomes eligible for permanent deletion. During that time you can email us to reactivate the account. After that period, we may delete it permanently.
Fair use
Use Keepta only for lawful business. Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service, and do not resell it or use it to store anything illegal. We may suspend an account that does.
Availability
We work hard to keep Keepta running and to back your data up, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We may take it down briefly for maintenance, and we are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Keepta grows. If a change is significant, we will let account owners know. The date at the top shows when this version took effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
