Prefer your records in a database that belongs to you instead of our shared one? Keepta runs the app on our platform and connects to a Postgres database in your own hosting account. Your shop's data lives there, not alongside any other business, and you can revoke our access at any time. We still set it up, secure it, monitor it, and manage your renewals and new branches. Your owner and staff just sign in and work.
Maintenance is priced by your branch count at signup, and it adjusts the same way whenever you add a branch. If your usage grows a lot, we'll always confirm any change with you directly before it takes effect, so nothing ever lands as a surprise on your bill.
We can't see your customers, suppliers, sales or profit, and we never sell your data.
Keepta collects only your account and store details. Everything you record while running your shop belongs to you. There is no admin screen anywhere in Keepta that lets our team browse a store's records, and every request is locked to your own store, so no one, including us, can open your books through the product.

Can I control what each staff member can see or do?
Yes. You create roles and grant each one specific permissions. For example, you can let a cashier record sales while hiding cost prices and supplier details. Staff see only their own branch, and the owner sees everything.
Does Keepta track customer debts and part-payments?
Yes. Each sale can be fully paid, part-paid or pending, and outstanding balances show per customer and on the dashboard, so you always know who still owes you and how much.
Do I need to install Keepta, and can I use it anywhere?
No installation needed. A lot of shop systems are installed on one office computer, so you can only use them at that desk, and if the PC is lost, stolen or crashes, your records go with it. Keepta lives online, so you sign in from any PC or phone, at the counter or away from the shop, any time. Your data is kept safely in the cloud, not locked to a single machine.
Does Keepta work for phone, accessories and appliance shops anywhere in the country?
Yes. Keepta is built for the Nigerian market. Prices are in naira, payments use Paystack, and it works for a shop anywhere in the country, from a single stall to a multi-branch business.
Can the Keepta team see my customers, suppliers, sales or profit?
No. Keepta collects only your account and store details for itself. Your shop's own records (your products, suppliers, customers, staff, sales and profit) belong to you, and there is no admin screen or report anywhere in Keepta that lets our team browse them. Every request is also locked to your own store, so one store can never load another's data. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. See the 'Your data' page for the full, honest detail.
Can I keep my shop's data in my own database instead of the shared platform?
Yes. With Keepta's own-database option your store's data lives in a Postgres database that belongs to you, in your own hosting account (we recommend a managed Postgres such as Railway, Neon or Supabase), separate from the shared platform and from every other shop. Keepta still runs the app for you and connects to your database, and we handle security, monitoring, accounts and renewals. You keep no server to run, we keep no copy of your data, and you can revoke our access at any time. It is our premium, fully managed tier: a higher one-time setup fee and maintenance at a premium to the standard plan, reflecting the dedicated database and hands-on support, with your hosting provider's own fees separate.
